Managing Director Ian McDonnell has praised the parade and said the company is "thrilled" to be involved.
"My late uncle Don McDonnell was heavily involved in the community as Mayor for 19 years and my father Les has been involved in a number of service and community organisations. As a family, we would like to continue the tradition of being part of the community so this is a really good fit." he said.
Deputy Mayor Hanna Persello, who is also the Council representative of the Mount Gambier Christmas Parade Advisory Committee, thanked NF McDonnell and Sons for their contribution.
It was recently reported that WIN TV had "dumped" its sponsorship of the event, but it has since been revealed that this isn't the case. WIN TV will continue to support the event with in kind airtime promotion to the value of more than $20,000 annually in support of the event.
"WIN Television is proud to have been involved in the Mount Gambier Christmas Parade since 1974 and we'll continue to support the parade for years to come." said Kevin Cook, the Manager of WIN TV Mount Gambier.
The 2017 Mount Gambier Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday November 18th from 11am.
